Statement of Goals:
This elective offers outpatient and inpatient clinical experiences in the care of children with rheumatic diseases at Texas Children's Hospital.
Learning Activities
Team-based patient care, including physical therapy/occupational therapy, nutrition management, school liaison, and nursing care, are emphasized. Student participation in patient management and other conferences is expected.
