Continued mastery of newborn exam, more in-depth study of neonatal medicine.
Learning Activities
2 weeks in Level I and 2 weeks in Level II at Ben Taub General Hospital as part of a house staff team as it rotates through normal newborn and intermediate care nurseries. The student will have primary responsibility for the care of patients, prepare and take part in weekly seminars, conferences and daily rounds. Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm
