Statement of Goals:
This is an externship in the level I (2 weeks) and level II (2 weeks) nurseries at Ben Taub General Hospital.
Learning Activities
The student will be assigned to a house staff team, working with the team as it rotates through normal newborn and intermediate care nurseries. The student will have priomary responsibility for the care of patients, prepare and take part in weekly seminars, conferences, and daily staff rounds.
