Statement of Goals:
On the inpatient service at Texas Children's Hospital, the student functions as a member of the pediatric neurology team consisting of pediatric and neurology residents, a pediatric neurology resident, and a staff person.
Learning Activities
Experience with both the diagnosis and management of neurological complications of medical and surgical diseases and primary neurological diseases will be obtained. The proper use of laboratory diagnostic tests, including neuroradiologic and neurophysiology procedures, is stressed.
