Statement of Goals:
Special Clinical Electives must be approved by Dr. Chris Finch for students desiring a special type of elective experience at BCM or an "away" clinical rotation at another institution. Special electives must have Department Coordinator approval to certify the course as equivalent to BCM Elective course offerings and acceptable to count toward the 32 Credit Graduation Requirement. Pre-requisites for "away" rotations may vary according to the program offering the elective. An "away" rotation is generally reserved for fourth year medical students. The BCM Pathology Department can take a maximum of 2 students per month participating in a special elective here at Baylor.
