Statement of Goals:
This is an active clinical practice involving outpatient clinic visits, inpatient consultations, and surgery.
Learning Activities
The student will be involved in observations and evaluation of patients in the clinic. The student will be encouraged to participate in the consultations at the end of the day, as well as to observe surgery on the certain days as is appropriate. For extra credit, the student will write a report on a topic of interest and present it at the pediatric ophthalmology weekly meeting.

Students must secure a signed registration document in order to be considered for this elective.
