Statement of Goals:
Students are assigned to the affiliated services at either Ben Taub General Hospital (maximum students-2) or the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (maximum students-2) to learn techniques of ophthalmic history-taking and examination, and to participate in the evaluation and management of patients with ophthalmic diseases.
Learning Activities
Students are required to attend departmental conferences in pathology, fluorescein angiography, grand rounds, and neuro-ophthalmology, and are encouraged to attend other scheduled lectures and conferences.
