Statement of Goals:
Acquaint student with the latest procedures in minimally invasive surgery. Expose student to scientific principles and instrumentation that permits a minimally invasive surgical approach. Participate in surgery in multiple related surgical specialties to broaden the student's clinical base. Prepare the student for a career in minimally invasive surgery. The student will be encouraged to select and complete a project that is suitable for publication.
Learning Activities
Student will rotate through St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women
