Statement of Goals:
The elective will encompass all of the general aspects of Gynecology practice. Expose the student to office gynecology and operative gynecology including pre and post-op care of patients. Special attention will be given to the areas of menopause and peri-menopause therapy, work-up of the infertile couple, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery A schedule of daily clinics and surgeries will be provided. There may be some choice of activities at the student's discretion. OB/GYN Grand rounds every other Wednesday morning at 8am.
