Statement of Goals:
The elective will encompass all of the general aspects of Gynecology practice. Expose the student to office gynecology and operative gynecology including pre and post-op care of patients. Special attention will be given to the areas of menopause and peri-menopause therapy, work-up of the infertile couple, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery
Learning Activities
Improve knowledge relating to pre- and post-operative gynecologic care as well as intra-operative considerations Improve knowledge relating to menopause, peri-menopause Improve knowledge relating to contraceptive options and management Improve knowledge relating to infertility and evaluation
