The students participate in the practice of family medicine in a variety of settings (Baylor Family Medicine Clinic, Texas physicians' offices through the Texas Statewide Family Medicine Preceptorship Program sponsored by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, continental United States family practice offices, including residency family practice centers).
Learning Activities
Emphasis is upon the comprehensive assessment of the clinical problems of families, implementation of management plans, patient follow-up, clinical preventive medicine and the organization and economics of primary care practice.
