Statement of Goals:
(Previously 420-408B) The course is offered in recognition of the language barrier experienced by medical students with little or no previous Spanish language training in communicating with Spanish-speaking patients.
Learning Activities
Instruction focuses on development of sufficient audio-lingual skills to conduct a simple history and physical in Spanish. Attention is given to significant aspects of the culture in the local Spanish-speaking population.
