Course is scheduled through Pathology Department - Yvetter Boney (713) 798-5490. Elective has pre-requisite. The objective of this course is to give the student exposure to the histopathologic features of dermatologic disease. The clerkship involves daily sign-out of cases, participation in dermatopathology conferences, teaching conferences in dermatology and pathology, and selected dermatology clinics/ the student is required to consult a standard dermatopathology textbook (such as Lever's Histopathology of the Skin or Murphy;s Dermatopathology) available in the department or at the Jesse Jones Library.
