OB/GYN Residents: Applicant Information

All graduates of U.S. accredited medical or osteopathic schools and ECFMG approved foreign medical schools are invited to apply to our residency program. Applications are accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service. Applicants may begin applying as soon as ERAS opens, generally in mid to late August. Our deadline for submission of all required application documents is Nov. 15 of each year.

Required Application Documents (All Residency Applicants):

  • ERAS Application
  • Medical School Transcript
  • MSPE
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX Transcript
  • Letters of Recommendation (minimum of three)
  • Personal Statement

Additional Required Documentation (International Medical Graduates only)

In addition to the above documentation, all foreign medical graduates are required to submit the following:

  • ECFMG Certification
  • Dean's Certification
  • Translated and Notarized copy of Medical School Transcript*
  • Translated and Notarized copy of Medical School Diploma*

*required if recorded in any language other than English

Application Information (International Medical Graduates)

All foreign medical graduates must be ECFMG certified at the time of application to be considered for an interview. No U.S. clinical experience is required.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is considered on a case-by-case basis and is neither implied nor guaranteed. Should we consider visa sponsorship, we will only sponsor J-1 visas.

Interviews

All applicants will be contacted via e-mail if selected for an interview. Interview dates and times are granted on a first come, first served basis. Approximately 15 applicants are scheduled to interview per session. Interview dates fill quickly, so please apply early.
