Clinical Training

Our 3-year program will focus on clinical activities for one year and research for two years.

The first year of fellowship will be 90% clinical with the initial six months spent on REI rotations. The next three months will be spent rotating through clinical practices of Baylor faculty in Urology/Male Infertility, Medical Endocrinology, Genetics, Pediatric Endocrinology, and Adolescent Gynecology. Toward the end of the first year, fellows will return to REI services to expand their experience in clinical REI. This experience includes office practice and the IVF lab. During the entire first and third year of training, our fellows participate in weekly general Ob/Gyn Grand Rounds and REI Division didactic sessions.

Additionally, first year fellows will enter the Clinical Scientist Research Training Program and take a bi-weekly evening course in clinical research in the month of July. They will also attend at least one monthly laboratory/research meeting in the department of Cell Biology, Genetics, or Urology/Andrology.
