Dr. Sean Rosenbaum received his BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. An internship in family medicine was then followed by internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. As a resident, he was recognized as intern of the year, and he was elected junior chief administrative resident and chief resident. Additionally, in 2006 he was awarded the ACOG John and Helen Burch Award; Honorable Mention, University of North Texas Research Appreciation Day; and First Place, TAOG Resident Research Day.

Dr. Rosenbaum joined Baylor College of Medicine in 2007 following work as staff physician at Diagnostic Clinic of Houston. Currently, he is an assistant professor and the supervising director of Obstetric Residents at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. His clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic surgery including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and the Essure procedure.
