Dr. Ruth S. Buzi is an assistant professor and director of Social Services at the Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinic. Dr. Buzi has received her Ph.D. in Behavioral Science from the School of Public Health- University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston in 2002, her MA in Social Work from the Graduate School of Social Work, University of Houston in 1993, and her BA in Social Work from the University of Haifa, Israel, in 1978.

Dr. Buzi has worked at the Teen Health Clinic for 16 years. She is an advanced clinical practitioner who supervises social workers at the different clinic sites, participates in grant writing, program development, and research on adolescents’ health issues. She has published in peer-reviewed journals over 30 articles related to adolescent fatherhood, male health, sexual health, sexual abuse, and mental health.
