Dr. Gary Binder received his BS degree from Union College, Schenectady, NY in 1962. He then went on to obtain his medical degree from University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy in 1968. After completion of his medical school training, he went on to do his internship and residency at Brookdale Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY (1969-1974) where he was the chief resident. He then went on to take his fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine (Fellowship in Gyn Pathology & Oncology).

In 1980-1981, Dr. Binder was a Talk Show Host for KTRK-TV Weekly OB/GYN show. The legal community seeks his OB/GYN expertise to defend their clients against neglectful medical care. He was also an expert witness at a Legal Seminar Mock Trial sponsored by New York Law Journal in 1998.

Dr. Binder is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and maintains practice at Harris Health System Ben Taub Hospital, People’s Clinic as the Medical Director of the OB/GYN Department and at Baylor College of Medicine Clinic. His professional memberships include: Harris County Medical Society, Houston Gynecological and Obstetrical Society, Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, and American Fertility Society. He is a member of Baylor College of Medicine Admissions Committee since 2007. Dr. Binder has been with BCM since 1976. Dr. Binder is devoted to resident clinical training as he shares his 35 years of experience. He is deeply interested in his private patients and is more than willing to expand the time and energy to create a warm and nurturing environment.
