Dr. Audra Timmins is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology in Pomona College (1992) in Claremont, CA. She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (1996-2000) at Baylor as well. She received her MBA from Rice University. She joined the faculty immediately upon completion of her residency and has been an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology since that time.

Dr. Timmins’ professional memberships include: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Associate Professors of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and The Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her clinical activities include general practice at Baylor Clinic with deliveries and surgeries at the medical center hospitals, direct teaching of residents and students at the Baylor Clinic, and teaching and supervision of residents within the Harris Health System (Ben Taub Hospital, People’s Health Center). Dr. Timmins' clinical interests are in laparoscopy and promoting patient safety and quality.
