Dr. Anuja Vyas grew up in Los Angeles, California and received her BS in Neuroscience from the University of California Los Angeles. She graduated with Latin honors and subsequently earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York City. Her training further includes an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She also served as administrative chief resident during her residency tenure. During her years of education she has been bestowed many honors and distinctions and has held memberships in some of the nation’s most prominent societies.
Dr. Vyas is a physician and assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. As an assistant professor at Baylor, Dr. Vyas is involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. As a physician provider, Dr. Vyas specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology. She has a particular interest in caring for women during their pregnancies and, outside of pregnancy, in solving their vulvovaginal disorders including problems such as vulvodynia, dyspareunia, vaginismus, and the lichenoid disorders. Dr. Vyas is also the assistant medical director of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Baylor Clinic to help ensure that every aspect of a patient’s clinical experience goes smoothly.
Dr. Vyas evaluates and cares for women throughout all stages in their lives. She is currently accepting new patients and is looking forward to taking care of you.
