Dr. Ann Schutt-Aine is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist in the division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her BS in Biology at Yale University (1996) before earning her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA (2000). Her postgraduate training includes internship and residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (2000-2004).

Before joining Baylor College of Medicine, she worked as Associate Medical Director of Planned Parenthood Golden Gate in San Francisco, CA. Prior to that, she practiced general Ob/Gyn at Primary Care Health Services, Inc. in Pittsburgh while serving as volunteer clinical faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Schutt-Aine is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her other professional memberships include: fellow, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; National Medical Association; Association of Reproductive Health Professionals; Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics; Harris County Medical Association and Texas Medical Association.

Her clinical activities include general practice at Baylor Clinic with deliveries and surgeries at medical center hospitals, as well as supervision of residents within the Harris Health System (People’s Clinic, Ben Taub General Hospital). She strives to enhance educational opportunities for medical students and OB/GYN residents in the area of family planning.
