Education

Residents

Our residency program currently trains 48 residents, 12 per year for our four-year program, leading to board certification.

Fellowships

In addition to our residency program, the department has fellowship programs in the following areas: Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Perinatal Surgery, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Medical Students

Medical students are another vital aspect of our educational mission. While the core clerkship in Ob/Gyn is reserved for Baylor students, we welcome visiting students to apply to our electives.

Observerships

At this time, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology does not grant observerships or externships.

Education Verifications

All requests for verification of residency or fellowship may be sent via e-mail to obgyneducation@bcm.edu or faxed to 832-825-9352. Requests must be accompanied by a signed release from the physician whose education is being verified. A $50 fee is assessed per verification payable only by check to the following:
