The Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship is a two-year fellowship located in the Texas Medical Center. Since its inception, our fellowship has provided comprehensive training in medical and surgical aspects of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
In addition to a full range of laparoscopic procedures, emphasis is placed on training fellows in office-based hysteroscopy, diagnostic hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic sterilization and endometrial ablation.
In addition to training with practicing obstetrician/gynecologists, our fellows train with surgeons in the Medical Center that specialize in general surgery, gynecologic oncology, colorectal surgery and urology as well as with fellows in other programs such as Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
Each fellow has an opportunity to pursue a Masters in Public Health through educational institutions affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine.
A variety of opportunities exist for research and innovative clinical investigation is encouraged.
