Clinical Appointments:

Dr. Creighton Edwards is a professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. He received his medical degree in 1960 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He served two years in the United States Army then completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1966. He then completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas in 1968. He became a certified diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1969. He practiced at The University of Texas Health Medical School in Dallas and at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston before joining Baylor College of Medicine in 1998.

Dr. Edwards is an active member of professional organizations ranging from local to international. He served on editorial boards of several major journals and is a prolific publisher. His clinical practice involves the care of women with complicated gynecologic conditions and female cancers.
