Neuromuscular Disease Fellowship
An additional position for the comprehensive two-year fellowship is available in Baylor Neuromuscular Program beginning in July. This program provides a wealth of learning opportunities in neuromuscular diseases. During the fellowship fellows will receive extensive clinical training in muscle and nerve disorders in General Neuromuscular Clinic, MDA Clinic, Neuropathy Center and Affiliated Hospitals, perform and interpret EMGs, muscle, nerve and skin biopsies, and conduct autonomic function tests.
The three fellows of the program will receive daily and close training and supervision by expert faculty. Following the completion of fellowship the fellows will qualify to apply for Qualification Recognition in Neuromuscular Pathology Certificate issued by AAN. To prepare the interested fellows for an academic career there will be ample opportunities for participation in clinical research and teaching.
Candidates must have completed an accredited neurology residency.
