Laurie Robak, M.D., Ph.D. is a clinical fellow in the Laboratory for Integrative Functional Genomics, and is also currently completing her dual residency training in pediatrics and medical genetics. Dr. Robak received her B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) and completed an M.D.-Ph.D. at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY). Her research thesis focused on the roles of Myelin-associated Glycoprotein and Nogo Receptor 2 in models of spinal cord injury. Dr. Robak is currently pursuing clinical-translational studies to identify novel genetic links between pediatric and adult neurodegenerative disorders.
