    Assistant Professor
    Received a B.A. in Biology from Hofstra University in New York and a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She performed her thesis research on adenovirus gene expression at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories. She did postdoctoral studies with Ed Harlow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories and with Andy Rice at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Herrmann has been an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine since 1995 and has been studying cellular factors that regulate HIV gene expression.
