Enteric dysbiosis plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of alcoholic liver disease. Our study details the chronic alcohol feeding-induced changes in the gut microbial community by metagenomic analyses of the fecal microbiome in a murine model of ALD. Moreover, the effects of probiotic supplementation (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, LGG) are also evaluated.
