What are the requirements for using the OIVM facilities for BCM users?

BCM users should complete the laser safety training course offered by the BCM Office of Environmental Safety before using the OIVM microscopes. If you do not have experience working with the microscopes please schedule a training session by filling out the training request form available on the OIVM forms page. All experiments should comply with the biosafety regulations of BCM.

What are the requirements for using the OIVM facilities for Non-BCM users?

Non-BCM users should complete the basic laser safety training module available on the OIVM links page. You must complete a training session with an OIVM core staff before using the microscopes. Please contact the OIVM core for setting up a training session. All experiments should comply with the biosafety regulations of BCM. Non-BCM users must fill out the biosafety form available on the OIVM forms page.
