Our faculty applies its broad and internationally recognized expertise in cutting-edge methods of molecular and cell biology, genetics, genomics, neuroscience, biomedical imaging, electrophysiology, biophysics, immunology, protein biochemistry, and pharmacology to the study of the mechanisms of human diseases. Through this knowledge, gained in part through the development of sophisticated animal models we are also developing new ways of intervention in debilitating illnesses such as:
