The Confocals Lab is a part of the Molecular Physiology and Biophysics Department at the Baylor College of Medicine. Our web site has been set up to guide you through the basics of Confocal Microscopy, and train you to use Confocal Microscopes to explore the biological world at the micrometer scale.

Take a look at links to operating manuals, powerpoint presentations about the various aspects of Confocal Microscopy, guided tours for beginners in microscopy, and a gallery of confocal shots taken using our microscopes.

Questions should be directed to: Dr. Mary Dickinson, Ph.D., mdickins@bcm.edu, 713-798-2104, or to one of her lab personnel.
