Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship - HMH

About Us

The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship is sponsored by Baylor College of Medicine and based at Houston Methodist Hospital. The purpose of the fellowship is to provide the fellow a broad exposure to all clinical and research aspects of CCEP, with particular emphasis on complex ablation and device implant procedures. Although the fellow will be actively encouraged to participate in ongoing programs of clinical and translational research, the content of the fellowship is primarily clinical. By the end of the fellowship, the fellow will be expected to be competent and independent in complex procedures in electrophysiology.

This program accepts one fellow per year, and provides a unique opportunity for training. The program requires 12 months of clinical training. Fellows rotate at Houston Methodist, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Ben Taub Hospital.
