Since studying as a medial student in "colonias" outside of El Paso, Dr. Warwick's practice interest has been underserved community health. Dr. Warwick joined as faculty at Northwest Health Community Center in 2007. A graduate of the program and former Society for Teachers of Family Medicine Resident Teacher Award recipient, Dr. Warwick was honored to be invited back to work along with his mentors, and excited to be involved in the residency program. He is grateful to have been able to continue patient relationships he formed while a resident. Dr. Warwick contributes to administrative duties of the program, as well as resident education via curricular workshops, precepting, and practical program development. He is involved in providing both obstetrical and in-patient attending services at Ben Taub General Hospital.
