Harris Health System: Community Health Centers

Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston faculty provide community health care at Acres Home, Aldine, Baytown, Casa de Amigos, Cypress, Squatty Lyons, Gulfgate, Martin Luther King Jr., Northwest, Settegast, Strawberry and Vallbona. The Smith Clinic houses specialty clinics in allergy, asthma, dermatology, pulmonology and other areas.

The Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health is a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Education and Research Center. The center's focus is on training occupational and environmental health specialists.
