Favorite Houston Restaurant: Lucille's is amazing! Their food is incredible, and they have a great outdoor space and live music on the weekends during brunch. I also love Brenner's on the Bayou. The food, scenery, and outdoor dining space are awesome! I'm still exploring and finding
Favorite Part of Living in Houston: Houston is such a culturally diverse city, which means we have one of the best food scenes in the country! Also the weather. I love never feeling cold, and I most likely won't have to drive in snow while I live here.
Favorite Part of the Baylor EM Residency: My co-residents are incredible. We have such a diverse group and I continuously learn so much from everyone. Our program is very resident-driven, and we're always encouraged to give feedback and discuss ways to make improvements. Also, our patient population is great to learn from. We see interesting pathology every day, and a lot of our patients are very complex. I love knowing that when I'm done with residency at BCM, I will be able to handle just about anything!
Interesting Previous Career: I was a student athletic trainer for the Notre Dame football team in undergrad (Go Irish!). And for a few years before med school, I worked for a physician in Denver who is one of the team doctors for the Broncos.
