Dec. 23, 2020
Dear Members of the Baylor College of Medicine Community,
A couple of weeks ago I reviewed, in some depth, the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines. This week, I will guide you through the other types of COVID-19 vaccines that are in the works. There are several categories: genetic vaccines, viral vector vaccines, protein-based vaccines, inactivated or attenuated coronavirus vaccines, and repurposed vaccines. I go through all of these types of vaccines in this week’s video, and talk about the ones that are expected to be available next.
If that sounds like a lot of science in a holiday week, do not worry. Lily makes her modeling debut, just for all of you.
Have a wonderful and safe holiday.
