CARES ACT HEERF Funding for Students
Baylor College of Medicine has been awarded $253,002 of CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) to use towards emergency funding for students. The College is working to finalize the eligibility determinations and therefore, has not yet distributed any HEERF grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act. Library Closed Until July 20 
The TMC Library will be closed Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 19. The library will reopen on Monday, July 20 with new hours from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Entrance to the Library will be switched from the west side on Webber Plaza to the front door on John Freeman Blvd. on Monday, July 20. All library services will continue to be offered virtually.  For assistance please use the website.

Update on Travel Restrictions
Baylor College of Medicine is eliminating the 14-day self-quarantine guidelines for personal domestic travel, effective Tuesday, May 12. Students must complete a daily online COVID-19 symptom screening and attest that they did not travel internationally after May 11 in order to begin clinical rotations on May 26View message.

Update on Clinical Rotation
The leaders of School of Medicine medical student program and the School of Health Professions Physician Assistant (PA) Program want to inform you of a status change for their programs. Due to the evolving crisis in our health care system resulting from COVID-19, we will maintain the suspension of medical and PA student clinical rotations from March 27, 2020 until May 26, 2020. This date is subject to change if suitable clinical learning sites become available earlier or if circumstances require extending it. View message from March 27. (Baylor log-in required)

Hours on Main Baylor Campus
The main campus (Cullen and surrounding buildings) is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The symptom screening desks are open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. All employees must check in at a screening station before 5 p.m. to gain access. On the Memorial Day holiday, and on all weekends, the main campus is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. only to those who have prior permission from their mission leader to access the buildings. Those without prior permission cannot enter. Access is available through Cullen main entrance and Garage 6 on weekdays, and Cullen only on weekends at this time.
