Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing
The Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) is partnering with The Health Museum for a special event recognizing the 50th anniversary of one of humanity's greatest accomplishments: the Apollo 11 mission, which culminated in the first human bootprints on the moon.
TRISH will celebrate this remarkable feat with Health: Moon and Beyond, a special event at The Health Museum at 3 p.m. on July 20, 2019.
Hear a panel discussion of space health topics from the moon landing to future a journey to Mars. VIP guests include retired NASA astronauts Dr. David Hilmers and Dr. Robert Satcher, TRISH director Dorit Donoviel, Ph.d. Discussion will be followed with a special screening of the Smithsonian film The Day We Walked on the Moon.
