Arianna Huffington will deliver the keynote presentation at the 2018 Huffington Spotlight on Health entitled “ THRIVE: How to Build a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, Wonder and Purpose – At Any Age” at 7 p.m., Oct. 17 at the Junior League of Houston, 1811 Briar Oaks Lane, Houston, 77027. Huffington is the founder of The Huffington Post, founder and CEO of Thrive Global and a best-selling author. Her message will be “Thrive: How to Build a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, Wonder and Purpose – At Any Age.” Hors d'oeuvres and wine will kick off the event at 6 p.m.
This year's spotlight is part of a celebration marking the 30th anniversary of the Huffington Center on Aging.
Following her success with The Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington launched Thrive Global, a corporate and consumer well-being and productivity platform with the mission of changing the way we work and live by ending the collective delusion that burnout is the price we must pay for success.
She has been named to Time Magazine's list of the world’s 100 most influential people and the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in economics. At 21, she became president of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union. She serves on numerous boards, including Uber and The Center for Public Integrity.

The Spotlight on Health aims to highlight a nationally or internationally acclaimed expert in the field of aging, who can provide the audience with relevant knowledge and take home tools that promote longevity.
