SXSW Interactive - TRISH Panel Discussion March 10, 2018
The Translational Research Institute for Space Health has a single overarching mission: Lead a national effort in translating cutting-edge emerging terrestrial research into applied space flight human risk mitigation strategies for exploration missions. Simply put, we seek and fund emerging scientific and biomedical advances, radically disruptive technologies, and new engineering capabilities and facilities that bridge earth and space health medicine.
On March 10, 2018, at SXSW Interactive, TRISH Director Dorit Donoviel, Ph.D., moderated a panel discussion on the pronounced need for low footprint, low consumables, health and wellness diagnostic devices (wearables and non-wearables) for behavior, mental agility, and medical wellness required to keep humans safe as NASA prepares to send astronauts further into space than ever before.
