NASA's Human Research Program (HRP) hosted its annual Investigators’ Workshop (IWS) in Galveston, Texas, Jan. 22-25, 2018. This is the primary venue for reporting progress and results in HRP-funded research and technology tasks to HRP Program Management, with the additional benefit of permitting cross-discipline interactions among the full spectrum of investigators.
The theme of this year’s meeting was “HRP Research: The Gateway to Mars.” Despite government shutdown challenges, the IWS was a large success with 1,162 registrants and 884 attendees and 420 presentations (141 oral and 279 posters).
