Lab Coat and Scrubs Recycling Event
Thank you to everyone who dropped off their old lab coats and scrubs for the recycling event - it was a huge success. Nearly 500 pounds of materials was collected in the two-week period. Considering each lab coat weighs less than 1/2 pound, our estimate is that about 1,000 lab coats were collected. Great job, Baylor! Looking forward to next year's event!
Baylor Maintains #1 Rank in RecycleMania Competition
The results are in and Baylor still ranks as the top medical school in the country for recycling. Baylor recycled an average of 12.84 lbs per capita which resulted in a diversion of 183 Metric Tons of CO2 or 36 cars off the road or the energy consumption of 16 households.
Thank you for helping Baylor have another successful year.
