SMS 2 is a collaboration between Baylor College of Medicine's Office of Institutional Diversity, Inclusion and Equity and the Center for Reproductive Medicine. It is a continuation of the general Saturday Morning Science program.
You are only eligible for participation in the SMS 2 program if you successfully completed the general Saturday Morning Science program, which runs from January to May each year. SMS 2 participants must be high school students in the fall semester of the upcoming school year; if you will not be in 9th - 12th grade in the fall, you are not eligible to participate. If you participated in a previous SMS 2 program year, you are not eligible to participate again.
Faculty associated with the Center for Reproductive Medicine present at each session. There are only four sessions for SMS 2. Dates are listed below. If you know in advance that you are not available for more than one of the dates, you should not apply for SMS 2. View a list of the reproductive medicine faculty members.
SMS2 2019 - Registration To Open in July 2019
There are only four sessions for SMS 2. Dates for the fall 2019 program will be announced in summer 2019. If you know in advance that you are not available for more than one of these dates, you should not apply for SMS 2. Morning lectures will be held in the Alkek Building, Room N315. Sessions are 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

Applications for SMS2 Now Closed
For high school students who have completed the general SMS program in spring, please check back in July 2019 to register.
The cost of the program is a flat fee of $40. This fee can be paid with a credit card online by clicking the link at the end of the online application (preferred), or with a check or money order by using the form below.
