The Michael E. DeBakey, MD, Excellence in Research Awards are given each year to those Baylor College of Medicine faculty members nominated and selected as having made a particularly significant published scientific contributions to clinical or basic biomedical research during the three previous years.

This years recipients are Monica Justice, Jeffrey Rosen, Peggy Goodell, and Nikolai Timchenko.
