Lior Heller, M.D., is an associate professor in the plastic surgery division of the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He specializes in body contouring, reconstructive surgery after oncologic resection, and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Heller is a graduate of the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel, and he is board certified in plastic surgery by the Israeli Society of Plastic Surgery and in general surgery by the Israeli Society of General Surgery. Dr. Heller's additional extensive training includes a one-year fellowship in minimally invasive and endoscopic cosmetic surgery of the face with Dr. Oscar Ramirez in Baltimore, Maryland, a two-year fellowship in reconstructive plastic surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and a one year fellowship in microsurgical oncologic reconstruction at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He then served for three years as a clinical instructor in the department of Plastic Surgery at M.D. Anderson.
Dr. Heller is actively involved in teaching residents and students and in publishing in the most exclusive professional journals as it can be seen from his CV. Dr Heller is a frequent speaker at national an international professional meetings. Currently he is featured in "Modern Beauty" a TV show aired every week nationally on Style Network and locally on ABC digital.
