The Mouse Phenotyping Core (MPC) is one of the most comprehensive Phenotyping Cores in the Country. We occupy a 3400 sq. foot space dedicated to enhance research at the Baylor College of Medicine. The MPC is located within an AALAC accredited animal facility on the main Baylor campus. The facility includes non-invasive testing and imaging equipment, a dedicated surgical suite, several surgical services, animal housing, administrative and technical staff offices, and a data analysis workstation area. We have a full-time director and senior veterinary technician as well as a part time MRI programmer on staff to assist you. The MPC is available to all investigators at BCM and outside institutions and we stand to promotes educational opportunities for students and post docs. Prices, requests for service, and all scheduling of equipments will be handled by the manager of the Mouse Phenotyping Core, Corey Reynolds, Ph.D..
