The Accreditation Council accredits Baylor College of Medicine for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. Baylor College of Medicine designates this continuing medical education activity as Category 1 of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. One credit hour may be claimed for each hour of participation. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. This weekly forum creates the opportunity to share information and provide updates on clinical issues, research data, and health policy matters that affect the decision making of the internal medicine physician in the care of patients. The practicing physician, resident, and fellow will assess the validity of data, analyze treatment methods and policy matters, and apply acquired knowledge to clinical situations.
