Professional Statement
Eric Martinez is a physician assistant and currently part of the emergency department at Ben Taub Hospital, a leading level 1 trauma center in Houston Texas. He serves as director of the Baylor Emergency Medicine PA fellowship program, also part of Ben Taub Hospital. Eric completed this same fellowship in 2012.Eric is a Texas Tech University PA school graduate and a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in biology.
Eric is an active member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and has served in various leadership roles. Currently he is the chair of the Student Affairs Committee and the TAPA representative to the American Academy of Physician Assistants House of Delegates.
