Advanced Practitioners
The section is also home to a rapidly growing advanced practice provider group consisting of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The program started in 2000 with three practitioners and continues to grow. This group, which has recently expanded to 16 positions, staffs both the pediatric intensive care unit and the progressive care unit.
