Clinical and Research Interests

  • Development of transcatheter techniques and devices to treat congenital heart disease.
  • Development of minimal invasive “hybrid” procedures (combining transcatheter techniques with surgical expertise) to repair heart defects.
  • Exploration and development of transcatheter treatment of CHD in the fetus, involving a multi-discipline collaboration with fetal surgery and obstetrics and echocardiography.
  • Collaboration with adult Cardiologists in the management and long term results of adults with CHD, focusing on the transcatheter treatment possibilities.
