Clinical and Research Interests

Dr. Dickerson's clinical interest is in pediatric cardiac critical care, including extracorporeal life support. Her research interests center on improving the care of critically ill patients with congenital heart disease. Specific research interests that she is pursuing include therapeutic options in the perioperative care of patients including stress dose steroids, vasopressin and the use of peritoneal dialysis. She has also been interested in the care of patients with Heterotaxy syndrome and ways to improve their outcomes.
